Social Injustice in Pennsylvania!

Writing about a perceived injustice is one thing, but living through actual injustice is quite another and the Internet is full of videos boasting and brimming with coverage from all angles of the injustices we all face everyday.

This is not what living a good life is supposed to be about. At least we are all mostly, waking up to that fact. I'd like to say it's about time, but we're all learning as we go here, and most of us never got the handbook on living a truly authentic yet unpredictable and spirit-led life.

That's when I like to jump in and remind myself that we all, generally speaking, know right from wrong at a very common and basic core level. Those who have a basic and core level of self awareness might understandably be frustrated with those pretending to not know, or playing a game it would seem, that they don't understand why the rest of us have had enough waiting patiently.

The number of people needing support are increasing everyday... as is the number of people suddenly waking up and it all making sense now.

However, some of those suddenly waking and having that epiphany are seeking out ways to put it all back in the box... Oh honey, you can never go back... but more importantly, why would you want to? The TRUTH may not resonate with everyone but that is why the transition is taking time. It takes time to re-evaluate what's important to you and where you want to integrate and settle after the circus is over.

Do you want truth, light, love and honesty in your life? Or do you want isolation, gaslighting and betrayal to become your new norm? It's ultimately your choice. It always has been. But I do believe the decision has been made and the direction we are heading is up in vibration. Which basically translates to: out of the darkness and into the light... lighter loads, less density, enlightenment... etc. This is for anyone on the planet.

I say this with all the care in the world so as to hopefully, not trigger anyone into further devolution of their human spirit. In any case, when something is wrong, sometimes you just gotta call it out.

I'm going to share this personal accounting as documentation - the very same facts that I would shared in a deposition and under oath. I also share my theories and speculate about why these things may have happened using critical thinking skills, and are clearly marked as such. This is definitely not to be considered as a statement of fact or accusation but rather, speculation on intent and cause for that intent where indicated; which is protected under my First Amendment Rights.
I am not in a court and not under oath: so my remarks hereafter are an expression of my right to freely use words to transmit my current assessment of a situation which has presented itself in a way that requires any logical or critical thinking individual to speculate about intent to harm another or intent to deprive another of their personal freedoms, or worse.
It is my position and opinion that critical speculation is required when all other explanation and excuses are exhausted and just don't make sense or seem to fit the situation.

Here is my very actual and real and recent, life experience with Pennsylvania and their so-called Department of Corrections as the single largest Agency in the Commonwealth; armed with their state parole enforcement folks, now interestingly enough referred to as "agents" and not parole officers. This involves anyone who takes custody over another for criminal reasons - or is part of the chain of command in the system that incarcerates and controls these individuals. And perhaps works off quotas or is possibly rewarded for certain head counts or even 'shots' (sending someone back to prison) given.
Let's just put put it that way in our speculation.

How about we start with not putting homeless people in prison, ok?

Let's focus on a point of agreement as the foundation here... and we start with the fact that a lifestyle such as being homeless is not something that should get people promptly thrown in jail... and yet it happens every day in Pennsylvania.

So, let's start there.

I have personal accounts from people that didn't have a home plan and they were thrown in jail because their parole officers (or agents, lets not get confused here, I'll probably keep using both terms for a minute ;) wouldn't allow them to be homeless or get a temporary place at a homeless shelter while seeking gainful (and quite tolerant and flexible) employment, while going to classes, appointments and recovery meetings.

It's incredibly daunting to say the least.

OK.

So the state seems to agree that just because someone is homeless, they shouldn't be put in jail for that alone. I've spoken with many people within these systems who feel that way as well. It's not a crime to be homeless. At least, there's some people in the system with a true desire to help people and they're present.

This is a major point because on one hand you have people within the system who totally agree that someone shouldn't go to jail for being homeless. On the other hand you have people who are either benefitting monetarily or are just enjoying making others suffer and the power trip they get when they take away the freedoms of someone else.
What else is anyone to think?

It's striking me as a 'Survival Of The Fittest' type of scenario that's enhances both undesirable and unacceptable behaviors the latter group very often, seem to resort to (like the power-over-others trips some get as COs and POs) and quite frankly, well worth investigating for solutions on aggressively incorporating the medical use of THC; rather than allowing it to get confiscated and then stripping away the rights and freedoms (along with the dignities and livelihoods) of individuals who otherwise, would have no reason to be re-incarcerated...

OK, that's a LOT to unpack. Let me get into it.

The state, specifically the Governor Josh Shapiro, needs to make a loud and clear statement about this and make sure all state workers are clear about the states position on the very same medication they make tons of money on granting you the legal protection to use it as medicine.

According to the new federal re-scheduling of medical marijuana from I to III, on April 23, 2026, Schedule III designates substances accepted with medical use and moderate to low potential for dependence. The Federal Government has now officially acknowledged marijuana has accepted medical value.

This is very important now, because you can't withhold someone's medication in the state of Pennsylvania! you can't do that! EVEN IF THE STATE CAN STILL IST IT AS SCHEDULE III... DOESN'T MATTER! LEGAL MEDICATIONS ARE PROTECTED IN PENNSYLVANIA (at least, they claim medications are protected -

MEANING: NOBODY can withhold the legal medication of another... period!

If this doesn't qualify as medicine with the very same protections as any other medication, then the state needs to cease accepting money to allow medical use and step off that bridge while just prior, issuing refunds to all whom had to pay the excessive fees to the state to obtain such a medical use of THC prescription. ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE THROWING PEOPLE IN JAIL FOR SIMPLY HAVING THEIR MEDS ON THIER PERSON!

It's MEDICATION DISCRIMINATION!

Otherwise, if you're going to make money on allowing it for medical use then you need to step up and protect it as such. Especial now since April 23, 2026 and the new scheduling.

Pennsylvania, you need to get your house in order and release all those prisoners who are in on fake charges.

Every Parole officer knows exactly who belongs in there and who doesn't. But why would they report on themselves? But why would they? Why would they tell on themselves? They wouldn't. Why would they lie in the first place?

Especially (and here's where I speculate on intent) if they're making extra money or doing something they shouldn't. I'm not saying that all Parole officers or agents are, no way! But there's a place not many will call out because of the pure stigma attached to it and speaking publicly on something such as this is not something everyone wants to hear.

A lot of people would rather this just go away quietly.

The 'agents' or POs need to be investigated, or at the VERY least brought up to speed on 1) not falsifying documents and forcing a parolee to sign it to send them back to jail - when it was created to cover their asses only, against wrongful imprisonment allegations!

Keystone halfway houses needs to be audited and perhaps even, both audited and investigated.
At the very least they both need to answer some basic questions such as:

Do they make quota bonus pay?
Do they earn based on commissions?
Are they allowed to receive extra pay for any reason including overtime?
Does any third party pay additional money for agents?
Why do the agents have offices in the halfway houses, such as Keystone?
Do they receive bonuses, bonus pay or commissions based on inmate migration and/or head counts? Are they allowed to receive money from third parties such as Keystone?
Are there any state sponsored or department of Corrections sponsored contests related to numbers of shots given - or how many people you moved back into the system?
Do COs and/or POs receive any additional monies for any other reason other than time exchanged; that's related to the number of inmates or head counts in any way

This needs to be very loudly made clear the Sate of Pennsylvania is issuing medical allowance of THC for a price; (everyone already knows that part... ) and that medication is considered such and is allowed the same protection as other medications are afforded.

This is not a jailable offense nor a justification, even if it's written up as something else - like getting 'kicked out of the facility' (for having your medication on your person and then just calling it 'contraband'- or trying to dose quietly out of need because you were denied your legal right to use your personal medication) for example - TRUE STORY!

I know our system in Pennsylvania is really messed up for what to do with repeat offenders and drug addicts and homeless people. But I have a plan, actually. I will get into the actual plan at a later time.

The Department of Corrections answers directly, and is under the jurisdiction of, the Governor of Pennsylvania, who is Josh Shapiro. It wouldn't be hard to fix the problem, if they actually wanted to help these people and not continue to make money off them be ensuring a system setting them up for failure.

But for now, let's talk about someone who paid their debt to society and was released on parole - except they didn't have anywhere to go when released. No acceptable home plan due to strict requirements placed on them, such as: not being allowed to parole to a couch, or a car, or a homeless shelter... led them to be released to a state sponsored, half-way house.

If you've ever been to one or even known someone whose been in one, often times they won't talk about it because the physical conditions are like prison but worse in some ways, because of the low level of funding that actually makes it down to the physical level to improve the structure including but not limited to: the nasty flaking pieces of material (that can't be good, healthy or even up to standards) on the food trays they're expected to eat off of... and such.

There a lot more that can be improved very quickly, if addressed properly. Starting with an audit of the entire DOC! And there's a whole host of others problems with that facility I won't get into today that I'm sure are similar across the state.

There are many things a workers in a half way house house should be doing. But I say with 100% certainty, that withholding legal medication is not one of those things. That should be prosecuted in my humble opinion. I'm sure the state of Pennsylvania considers that to be criminal, withholding someone's medication, right PA?

I'm intentionally skipping a bunch of details about the crappy so-called recovery options for addicts within the system, (I also have a plan for that), but for the sake of staying both transparent and concise, let's skip the very real and harsh realities of an addict trying to complete the boiler plate list of parole requirements which clearly sets most up for failure...

So let me give a little context here - stay with me...

You have heroin addicts all receiving their suboxone at medicine time in these half way houses. Let me say and make clear that I'm not opposed to any treatment options that truly helps people get off Heroin. I lost a son to an accidental heroin overdose that was laced with fentanyl. So I'm extra sensitive to that and to people getting the help they need.

So the Halfway house called Keystone located at 7201 Allentown Blvd in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania does give out medication at a time designated for addicts.

Additionally, it should be stated that a legal state prescription (in PA) of THC for pain management will not get a charge from the state troopers; and yet, Keystone halfway house on Allentown Blvd will not allow this medication to be given, even at specific hours as prescribed by a doctor.

It's worse than that.

The workers at the Keystone halfway house won't even let you even bring it into their building.. not even to turn it in the be kept with other medications. They still consider it contraband! In direct opposition to what the federal Government just clarified on April 23, 2026 making sure to be clear that it is considered to have medical benefits and therefore, is protected under the States as legal medication... kind of a no-brainer, right?

A legal THC medication pen is not contraband in the state of Pennsylvania when the state has already had the transaction and taken your money to allow you the legal use of THC as medical prescription!  Otherwise, this is a prime example of what shall be considered, extortion by the State of Pennsylvania.

However, that is exactly what is happening.

Or should I say, happened... to my second son! He was sent to Camp Hill state prison facility after the workers at the facility followed my son into the bathroom in the middle of the night when he couldn't sleep from pain, and proceeded to take away his medication.

OK, I know you're thinking, 'well Lynda, he had a weed pen... he can't do that'. Well, ok, I get that you can't use it in certain places. Like you're not going to go smoke it in church and say well, it's legal. I'm legal so I get to use this where ever I want.
I'm not that stupid, blind or naive.

However, do you feel it's right to make someone, anyone, have to go hide their legal medications in the woods and burry it to keep it safe, every time they get back from work; when the heroine addicts get their suboxone at medication time?

Can you not see the clear discrimination?

My youngest son is also in recovery and as long as he has something for his chronic pain such as his THC medication that actually helps him, he isn't tempted to use something else. He is currently being deprived of this and it's well documented that he's in recovery from harder drug use and addiction!

One has to start asking the logical questions. Like, why Suboxone?
Do these facilities get paid to administer doses?
How much?
Who's paying the money?
Why? If it's for the greater good of society then why not allow other medications, or step-down option for those who want to get off the suboxone and perhaps use the medical marijuana instead as a micro-dose to assist with the cravings?
IT WORKS as my son is a clear and living example!
Why not give everyone a chance to decide for themselves?
Ok, I digress into part of my plan to actually helps these people who need it so desperately.

Why would our state want heroine addicts?  Well, that's harsh... but then why would they allow free suboxone - well, I wonder what insurance company is paying for all that suboxone and how much money they get and who gets that money all the way down the line to the last lined pocket off the backs of our most vulnerable populations. It's disgusting and sickening!

These are questions the taxpayers deserve to know when our money is funding the Department of Corrections.

Oh that's right, the Keystone facility running that halfway house with the parole officers operating directly inside (yes, the female PO or Agent, tried to gaslight me and say they don't have an office inside there... and even laughed at me when I mentioned something about their office) but that was a lie told directly to me... Even the workers at the facility already advised this was untrue. They absolutely DO work out of an office in that facility. Currently, it's a woman and a man parole officer working out of there. I won't dox their names here because that's not how I'm rolling.

Everyone deserves the chance to do the right thing.

If you think there isn't money involved, you're sadly mistaken. You see, I have a theory. So everything I say is just a theory here: I believe the facility get money from the government, from the taxpayers. I believe they get money for resources and they don't deliver all of it. I think that 'money saved' (or cut) becomes more personal bonus money and like a slush fund of sorts (but I have no proof of that, like I said, theory) I know that's a bold thing to say but like I said, it's my theory and I'm allowed to have it.

I also believe that the Parole officers work out of that half way house because there are so many things they give shots for right there, they don't have to work anywhere else (a SHOT in this case means they send someone back to prison). I also believe they may take a cut of the money every time they send someone back to prison on a PV (that's a parole violation). I believe this because of the pure gaslighting I receive from this female parole officer recently.. along with other evidence in this sad story.

This particular woman tried to blow a bunch of smoke up my ass saying that my son was doing so well and only used that place to shower and sleep - because he was working and going to all his meetings and appointments. Yes, he worked very hard to get and stay sober AND, get a job willing to work with his crazy schedule through all this. My son had a plan and was sticking to it and doing well.

I was told she already put in her recommendation for my son to get shipped off to a PV center. Well, she didn't phrase it like that... but I asked what they were and she told me they are considered parole violations centers and she claimed 'it would help him get out of jail as soon as possible'. She said that it was his 'best option' and 'his quickest way to get out...' she also told me she 'did not work out of the Keystone building'. She flat out denied it, TWICE! But she continue to act like she was trying to help my son while gaslighting me about it.

I know that's a strong statement to make. But you tell me... When I asked her if she was trying to help my son, she took that and ran with it. I asked her how long it would then be for him to get out, days, or more like weeks... she said 'more like weeks'. But that's not true either.

I asked where these centers were located and she didn't know. She was googling while we were on the phone and said she wasn't sure. She also said 'they were closing down all over the state'. If that wasn't concerning enough... now, I look them up after our call, and find that my son, if he's sent to one of these centers, will be there another 2 - 6 months!

For those following along, that's another 2 - 6 months my son has to endure and manage his pain without his legally prescribed medication! Which is literally the only reason why he's in state prison in the first place. For having his medical prescription on his person.

The PO is trying to make it sound good from her end, so she's using the fact that my son 'got kicked out for having contraband', as the sole reason for sending him back to state prison.
This is another reason why I suspect they get kickbacks for sending people back to jail. The motivation seems to be rooted in something not quite right. You can feel it. Critical thinking here... come on!

She works out of the same building she lied about... (WHY LIE?) The Keystone facility building employees (who I believe are under the DOC) worked directly with her to manage the paperwork and the "story" around this so it wouldn't seem like he was being jailed for trying to use his legal medication that was willfully and wrongfully denied and withheld from my son!

Why would you lie if you had nothing to hide?

The state police were called by the facility and the workers tried to have charges put on my son. He surrendered his THC medication to them. He fully cooperated.
The state police refused to charge him - because he had a legal medical script - and they left without charging him... but the paperwork claims his medication was surrendered to the state police.

And THIS is the most egregious part - So they facility decides instead of just holding on to his medication and giving it back when he left for work the next day, (if they wouldn't be allowing him access to administer his meds properly) no... they worked together to say he was kicked out , then forced him to sign the paper under duress and call it a Parole Violation so they could justify sending him back to STATE PRISON!!

That is NOT binding. You can't make someone sign something and then say it's a consensual signature; not when you're signing under duress. They can't hide behind that!

They claim my son was aware of the fact that he's not allowed to have his medication in the facility.... so he's been burying it in the woods every night, not dosing in the evening and having a hard time sleeping a lot of nights dealing with his chronic pain; due to 7 fused discs in his back surrounded by two heavy duty titanium rods on either side. (So in case you've been wondering if his pain is real or not, there you go... let's see how you would deal with that kind of chronic pain from that kind of hardware before you judge him.)

I say, he shouldn't have to!

If you decide not to let people in your facility with certain things, (as a private business owner) that's fine... No arguments here... but I say you can't allow some medications (that you most likely, get paid very well for) and not others, that you don't. You can't select medications that are cherry picked by you.
WHO EVEN ARE YOU?
WHY WAS THIS DECISION MADE?
WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO DENY MY SON HIS MEDICATIONS? OR
WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO SEND HIM TO JAIL FOR HAVING HIS LEGALLY PROTECTED MEDICATION?

The Keystone halfway house is a state facility and NOT a private ownership - not when they have custody over you! They are not allowed to discriminate against your personal and legal medications and THEY NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!

Not only are they clearly discriminating against THC medications legally obtained and state sponsored; but you are setting yourself up for discrimination law suits for the Keystone halfway houses, possible criminal complaints for willfully withholding necessary medications; wrongful imprisonment cases for the state Parole Officers and the state prison facilities that refuse to let people home plan to a couch or a homeless shelter; AND that forced my son take additional vaccinations that he clearly refused when the person administering the intake at Camp Hill asked about his vaccine status, clearly saw and said to him, they 'see in his record that he's had a lot of them and recently too.. and then they made him get another vaccine anyway and now... my son is very sick - from that shot.
Did they report it to the VAERS systems? I highly doubt it. They probably didn't even note on his records that he's having severe or adverse reactions from the shot they made him take against his clear wishes and refusals.

This all happened beginning June 1.

My son would be working his job and working at staying clean and sober if that wasn't taken away from him. The acts to get him thrown back in jail were not of his own volition.

The State of Pennsylvania has already made their position mostly clear; because I'm fairly sure they don't want to fight extortion claims with so many people that have fallen victim to this crazy scheme the state parole officers (or agents) are using, right along side of the state sponsored halfway houses in the state of Pennsylvania.

Therefore, it is my belief and official position that no persons should be allowed to stop, hinder or withhold any other person from access to their personal medications - in any way, shape or form. I will even go a step further and make it clear that I believe all people should have access to natural remedies such as essential oils, plants, roots, barks, berries, flowers and all kinds of other gifts from Mother Nature that work in cohesion with the ever evolving human vessel.

My Spirit needed to express through my person, that equal access to basic things such as medications, whether organic or lab created prescriptions are of a private and personal matter; and no other person, group or institution shall ever have either jurisdiction or authority over the self contained space and surrounding circle of space on the land in the air and within the waters connected by the breath of living fire that is within this space; nor shall they have the ability to control what others do within their personal space as long as it doesn't cause harm to another... all personal authority is sovereign and self evident.

I am quite surprised that people will go such a long way to cover up when they screw up.

He should have NEVER been sent back to prison. They stole his freedom, his dignity, his livelihood because he doesn't have his job now (which is very hard to obtain work around the schedule required by state parole as mentioned earlier) but he did in fact get a job and although physically demanding, he was happy working...so that was also taken from him as well when they shipped him off to state within 24 hours of the state police declining to press charges.

They sent him anyway... the shame they should feel right now is enormous.

I feel the edges of it and I send it all back to those who participated in the theft of my sons personal freedoms, dignity, and livelihood yet again. This is by no way, a full accounting and is quite a moving piece. His personal property is yet to be retrieved by yours truly. However, the scheduled date and time were confirmed by the program director and I will begin ongoing updates when needed.

All of this may be resolved with or without a law suit. It would include multiple persons and facilities but I also believe there is another path. At some point people must start doing the right thing without being sued to do it.
There must be good people in positions of power that can make these changes happen.

I'm not sure about our Governor. Some like him, some don't. Some say he's helping and others feel he's a criminal himself. Personally, I think everyone has the chance to do the right things and this is his time to do the right thing now.
I'm putting the Governor by way of the State of Pennsylvania on notice now.

Governor Shapiro, you can do the right thing here.

Do you have a plan to fix the problems identified in this broadcast that has affected millions of people across your state? I do.
Are you willing to make an official statement right now about this, as far as the ability of all Pennsylvanians to be able to use their state legal medications that are protected at a federal level as as schedule III and therefore, are to be afforded the same protections under PA state law for medications as well?

What say you, Governor?

I won't hold me breath but I am giving the chance to handle this another way. Perhaps you will surprise me - we shall see. My son doesn't deserve to be in jail for having his medications. This is the real reason why I'm putting this all on blast now.
My son does have a record and he has paid his debt. He has done his time. He has healed and grown even with his physical and intellectual disabilities. He is an example of what indomitable spirit looks like.

He got himself clean and sober even in a system designed to make you fail. He's gotten back up more times than a mother can count and I'm so proud of him fighting to keep his chin up through all of this...
He deserves to have someone championing and advocating for him since the system has clearly shown its hand at trying to systematically destroy him.

This is not over and by a longshot. However, I am open to alternatives to making it right. I have a feeling that if we go the court case way, the discovery will reveal many things that the state would rather keep quiet. I just know it. This is the Department of Corrections - the largest Agency in the Commonwealth! Actually, I welcome it.
You challenged the wrong person if you want corruption and past aggressions committed on my son and so many others, to remain quiet.

If we can't clean it up quickly and quietly, then it will become very public because I like to write. I like to document. I am very good at making myself useful when it comes to transmuting righteous rage into something of value.

GO ahead, make my day, but one way or another, we will win! We already have...
